Cochiti lake is one of the best of the few lakes near Albuquerque, its about an hours drive N. on I-25. Since it is a no-wake lake, there are few problems with powerboats, and none with PWC such as Sea Doos, they can't stand it when they have to go slow. Cochiti is a very small lake, but its the only one relatively close to NM's biggest cities, and great for a quick weekend day sail.
