Sea Palling - Norfolk, England

Wind Conditions: Good
Water Conditions: Good
Launch facilities: Poor
Beach conditions: Fair
Traffic conditions:
Safety: Excellent

Charges: £5 (tractor tow to the sea)

About the place:
The major problem is getting the boat to the water although a tractor is available to tow boats overr the dunes. I sailed here with my Topper a few weeks ago, and intend to take my Hobie 16 there this summer. The best bit is the offshore sea defence walls which provide a massive area of flat water and a 'wind tunnel' effect. Great down wind, the tack back up is hard work though, and perhaps better suited to fast monohulls. There is a high jetski (PWC) population, which is bad, but the whole beach is overlooked by the Royal National Lifeboat Institute.
