Great place for a direct shot into the Santa Barbara Channel, Wind is consistant year round with the best monthes being March to May, and August to Oct. Bring your wetsuit and dry suit, this is blue water sailing, with Anacapa Island only 11 miles away. Great places to snak with in walking distance to the launch point beach is right next to the Coast Guard Station, with a direct shot out of the harbor. Winds average 12 to 18 from 240 degrees to 280 degrees. Greate place, best to call Channel Island Harbor prior to going in winter monthes due to Harbor dredging (they use this beach for the equipment) Submitted by: J.
