Buzzards Bay is one of the best places to sail on the east coast and you can easily get everywhere in buzzards bay from Mattapoisett Harbor. The best place to launch is the landing off of Mattapoisett Neck Road. Take Route 6 to mattapoisett Neck Road and about mile down on the left is old road that goes directly to the landing. If you see water on your left youre there its the very first water view on mattapoisett neck road. The parking lot is dirt and so is the ramp. Four wheel drive is recommended but if you can carry your boat a 100 feet or so you can do it with a car. Best luanch time is high tide but it is possible at any tide. If you go on a weekend and the weather is good you will most likely see other hobies or trailers there. If you see a trailer attached to an all black Dodge ram pickup come say hi.
