About the place:
Cascade Lake is located in west/central Idaho. The altitude is aprox. 4500 feet above sea level. The lake is about 20 miles long by sevral miles wide, and runs north and south. The winds usually blow from the north in the morning, turning to the south in the evening. The southerly winds are usually stronger and start at the end of the lake we sail resulting in smoother water. We always race during the day and go out after the wind has turned to fly hulls and play. It is usable from early June untill September.
