Wind Conditions: Good Water Conditions: Good Launch facilities: Good Beach conditions: Fair Traffic conditions: Good Safety: Charges: None About the place: Ocean Springs Yatch Club is located at the East end of the Highway 90 Bridge that goes over the Biloxi River. You launch your boats off the beach just south of the yatch club. You are sailing in fairly protected water in the mouth of Biloxi Bay. Deer Island is about three miles to the west. From here, you can also sail out the the barrier islands off the Mississippi Coast (about a 13 mile sail). OSYC hosts a couple of regattas every year.
