About the place:
Small lake in the southern suburbs of Wagga Wagga, an inland city in NSW. The sailing club has exclusive use of the lake (no power boats allowed) for their race days, Saturday afternoons for summer and winter events. There are three launch ramps (one is for boat club members only) and good beach and picnic park facilities. Races are patrolled by a rescue boat. Other times there is no patrol. The lake is one of the venues for the Riverina Sailing Championships. Any sailing boat is welcome to join race events. We have boats from 10 foot Mirror to 24 foot trailer sailors. Division of classes means two or three starts but there are not class rules applied.
