We used these bad boys on our Santa Barbara Channel crossing, and I
was very impressed. They are available in multiple sizes and
configurations, some even sporting straps that make the bag function
as a backpack once you're on shore.

Although not made for sustained immersion, my gear stayed bone dry
after being hit for hours by blasts of serious waves and spray.
One bag did come loose and was dragging under the trampoline
(access side first). Although some seepage did occur in this case,
it was not bad at all, considering the circumstances. As an added
measure in case of capsize, I reccomend bagging contents in trash bags.
