Murray Sail John and Wind Top

We've worn the Murray Sail John and Wind Top combo on quite a few sailing/racing outings now, and are very impressed. The Sail John wetsuit is definately designed with the cat sailor in mind. Lots of stretch panels, and increased layers at the knees and shins. According to Steve Murray, the knee/shin panels can be removed and new ones stitched on if they become worn out.

The Wind Top is a great compliment to the Sail John. When the weather's hot, the Sail John's sleevless design keeps you confortable. When it cools down, the Wind Top can be put on for added warmth. The nylon pull over includes velcro closures at the hands and neck, and an elastic waistband.

Our only complaint is a minor cosmetic one. The knee/shin panels have this nifty honeycomb design on them which quickly starts wearing off (in our case, on the very first outing). This in no way reduces the effectiveness of the suit, it just makes it look a bit "used". This is easily prevented by wearing kneepads over the suit, which is probably a good idea anyway.
