Description: Hello, The Hobie 17 was called a heavy air machine (and it is) but this boat is also a light and medium air machine with the Spinnaker and both the sport and super jib. The Spinnaker solves the H17 downwind deficiency and with the high volume bows and wings is incredible. The sport and super jib lets you fly a hull upwind in 5 kts of wind and above. There is considerable equipment and upgrades and I'm sure I will forget some items in the listing. 1991 Hobie 17 (white) Somerset carbon square top main w/hollow battens (exc) Somerset Main setup to run on boom or boomless Hollow battens also increase sail buoyancy (purposely flipped and didn't turtle).
