My daggerboards have a factory hole whichs lines up with a premolded channel when installed. Is there supposed to be some type of bolt or pin assembly to allow the daggerboards to pivot up in shallow water? I read the online user manual and I didn't find any mention of the daggerboards (centerboards)at all. If there are any P19/18 owners any advice would be helpful. It appears the boards will work fine without the pin....

The daggerboards pivot on a standard piece of 3/4" PVC pipe. They snap into some indents at the bottom of the channel you mentioned. The system works pretty nicely. If you need the exact length of the PVC, I think I have a set here somewhere.
