Join us May 3rd and 4th, 2008 for the 30-something annual Chico Multihull Classic! This Multihull only regatta has been raced for over 30 years now on the beautiful Black Butte Lake just west of Orland, CA. Camping available at www.reserveamerica.com (Buckhorn Campground) and Regatta fee is $45. Past entries have included over 70 Multihulls and we hope to see upwards of 30 Multihulls this year. Black Butte lake features a full beach to park your boat safely on prior to and after races and a great campground with clean bathrooms. A lot of parking available and the beach can be driven on to beach wheel your Multihull into the water. Diverse entries include the all mighty Nacra Inter20, Nacra 5.8, Prindle 18-2, Prindle 16, Hobie 16, and of course the oldies on the Sea-Sprays! Activities include a campfire/cocktail event Saturday night with a raffle sponsored by: amainhobbies.com, Budweiser, Forebay Aquatic Center, and more, and a surprise Stainless Steel Trophy presentation on Sunday you won't want to miss. Black Butte Lake is just 2.5 hours from San Francisco and 3.5 hours from Reno, NV. Come join us for great racing, fun and of course the occasional cocktail. Brought to you by the Chico Cats and MHRA!
