  • I have seen sailing beach cats where people have added a motor and made them into a fishing platform.
    I have seen where they added a plywood to make a deck with a motor. Even added a folding lawn chair. to make a odd pontoon boat.
    This guy has taken it to a whole new level.

  • That's a riot. You can buy a pontoon boat in need of a deck for the same or less than a set of beach cat hulls...I really don't get the point. Pontoons are going to be a lot more structurally suitable to safely handle a motor, deck and passenger load. I could easily buy a purpose built pontoon boat with 20 hp motor for this $5500 price. Best of luck to whoever gets this.
