  • Hi,
Yes, the event happened and was a lot of fun. We had 15 boats on the line with a good mix of spin and non spin boats, perfect weather both days, a huge halloween party at Captain Hiram's on Saturday night and finishing off with a nice dinner and awards ceremony at Grills Resturant.

On Sunday first 5 spin boats finished with only a three minutes apart.

One of Captain Hiram's owners competed Saturday and Captain Hiram's is looking to expand their involvement in the race for next year. They opted out of the second day to sail locally and leave the boat at Captain Hiram's for the upcoming month.

For results, tracking replays, video, photos and more check out the event page at:

One of the participants did a story on the race for a magazine. I will provide a link once it is posted. I also have more images and video from the first day to post.

We already set next years date to October 29-30, 2016 to take advantage of Captain Hiram's Halloween Party. They already said they would set an area aside for us with a TV so we can show replay of the days videos.
