Description:
This event is the longest running catamaran regatta on the East Coast and second in the world, initially contested in 1973. Now named the Ron Anthony Memorial Regatta, it honors a beachcat pioneer who passed on in an early 1980’s plane crash. One of Ron’s many achievements was leading his team to victory in the 1979 Worrell 1000.Details: This is the final Fleet 32 meet of the year held off the Albemarle Ave entrance to Chicks Beach, Virginia Beach, VA. It is typically an all-buoys event. Entry for Fleet members is free.
Skippers meeting at 10AM. Race starts at 11AM
