Dealer Classified Ads

The classified ads here at TheBeachcats.com have always been reserved for the members posting ads for their own personal property. Until now business entities like manufacturers and dealers have been excluded from this very popular resource. The reason for keeping out dealers was to protect the members free advertising from the large quantities of ads the pros might generate, causing the individual ads to get lost in the shuffle.

But I have always been aware that the members would benefit from seeing ads from authorized dealers for brand new boat inventory, new and used parts, and services that only a manufacturer or dealer could provide. So now dealers and manufacturers can post ads in the new "Dealer Ads" section of the classifieds. This will provide great exposure for the dealers, while ensuring that the members ads are not buried, and making it clear to the members the ads are from a business.

How Your Business Can Post Dealer Ads

To be able to post ads in the dealer section you must have a username/password for the business that has "Dealer" permissions.

• Intructions for becoming an approved dealer at TheBeachcats.com
  • Register a username for your business using the normal member registration form.
    • If possible use a form of your business name for easy recognition. (MyBoatStore)
    • After registration, login and fill out the profile using the profile link in the main menu.
  • Sign up for Dealer status by setting up a monthly subscription via PayPal Subscriptions. The subscription can be cancelled at any time.
    • Login to TheBeachcats.com with your business username.
    • Click Here to Choose Your Dealer Level
    • Complete the secure process at PayPal.com.
    • Logout and back into TheBeachcats.com
    • You can now place ads in the Dealer Section of the Classifieds.
  • Begin placing ads in the Dealer section using the "Place an Ad" link inside the Classifieds.

• Rules for Dealer Ads
• Ad must be for one item or service with a stated price.
• Ads must clearly identify the business.
• Ads must be placed in appropriate categories.
• Dealers agree to respond promptly to contacts.
• Dealers agree to mark items Sold when no longer available. (sold items show "Sold" for 14 days)
• Dealers agree to advertise only items related to catamaran sailing. (If you aren't sure if an item is "related" please use the contact form to inquire before placing the ad.)
