After I purchased my Trac-14, I was afraid finding stock replacement parts would be a nightmare - new or used.  It had been a long time since AMF stopped production, so finding NOS (new old stock) could be difficult.  That said, I should mention two websites I've found that will make Trac owners smile:

1.  There's a manufacturer in Australia selling an identical catamaran called The Windrush.  I am told replacement parts can be purchased and substituted for practically every AMF piece on a Trac catamaran.  (The Windrush was produced under American license as the Trac-14.)  Links for The Windrush are listed to the left.  I have been very pleased with their knowledge and willingness to make an overseas purchase as easy as possible.  Don't hesitate to contact them with any questions and concerns.

2.  There's also a man in Connecticut, Howard Picard, that worked in AMF's boat division.  He has NOS, used, and reconditioned parts for many AMF sailboats (including Trac catamarans!) His NOS supply is limited to available stock, but this is a really good place to begin a search for parts.

Howard also wrote the "Help Column" in the AMF Sailboat newsletter (answering write-in questions from owners regarding their boats or sailing), so he is a valuable source of information, as well as parts. Just about the time I think I'm the only person that will NEVER throw anything away - I come across some Trac sailors that are just like me.
